It's a Small World After All!

Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom is where dreams are illustrated. One of the most known attractions in this section is it's a small world. It's a light, kid friendly boat ride through a cute world of different races and cultures. Throughout the whole ride the puppet people sing "It's a Small World" in different languages. It is an icon of Fantasyland and I suggest going on the attraction if you want a relaxing ride in contrast to some thrilling activities in Magic Kingdom.

it's a small world is great for the young ones, but not the best for older kids or adults. It may be interesting going on the gentle boat ride and seeing the different cultures of the world represented in cute puppets, but after going on the attraction more than twice it can get pretty boring in my opinion. My family and I have been on it's a small world plenty of times, and we've grown from it. Still, it's a great experience for younger kids and a nice sight to see with the family, but I wouldn't recommend going on the attraction again after the first time, as it can seem kind of boring or repetitive.

Around the World in a Day??

You might not believe it, but I've gone around the world in less than a day, and so have lots of other people in the Epcot World Showcase. It represents eleven countries in the world, and even though it's not exactly the entire globe, I'd say it gives a pretty good representation on how diverse the world is. Each pavilion represents it's country with shops and restaurants. To make it even more symbolic, they are staffed with people from that specific country! Some pavilions also include attractions and shows about the culture. The World Showcase is very educational, but not in a boring way. You get to experience things about other places around the world there, whether it may be the history of it, their cuisine, or their traditions.

My family and I visit the World Showcase almost every day when we visit Disney World because we often eat at the restaurants there. It's always nice to eat foods from different countries, and I highly recommend you do. But it is critical that you make reservations since most places don't take walk ins. Honestly, you'll be lucky if you can get a table without a reservation, unless that specific restaurant is having a slow night. In my opinion, visiting the World Showcase is a place that you must check out during your time at Disney World.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin

If you would want to visit the future, checking out Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom is a must. My younger brother's favorite all time ride in Disney World is Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Buzz Lightyear takes you on a journey to defeat Zurg and save the planet. You get to laser shoot the enemies and feel like a real hero! Personally, I like this attraction because I get to see my score (how many targets you shoot affects the score) and compare it with my family. Whoever gets the highest score gets the pride and bragging rights of being the best at shooting the bad guys.

I would recommend this ride to younger boys who would want to save the world with Buzz, but it is still enjoyable for the whole family, as it is for mine. Keep in mind that many other people love this attraction too, so there is often a long line to get in. Make sure to get a fast pass in the morning to take time and enjoy other parts of Magic Kingdom rather than waiting in line for however long the regular queue may be. As long as you don't mind slight darkness, this attraction will surely be interesting.

Inspirations

"You're dead if you only aim for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway." What Walt Disney said describes why Disney World is such a success to all. Hi, I'm Kiana, the creator of this blog, and I love Disney World, which is part of the reason why I decided to start it. I also made it so I can inspire kids of all ages (that includes adults!) to take an adventure to the Walt Disney World Resort. Here on this blog I'll give you the scoop on what attractions to go on, which shows to watch, where to eat, and more at the theme parks and resorts. My goal on this blog is to help kids fulfill their time at Disney World, no matter what age they are. I hope you enjoy my posts. Most of all I wish you the best time while you visit the place that makes dreams come true :).
